Michael Sharpe
For over a decade Michael has been at the forefront of national campaigns and policy development.
He is a former General Secretary of the Scottish Labour Party prior to which he served as the Party’s Director of Policy.
Michael led policy development, campaign planning, overseeing media broadcasts, polling, targeting and messaging on national and local campaigns.
As a researcher he developed a number of member’s bills with MSPs and working alongside Trade Unions, charities, businesses and other organisations, has drafted numerous successful legislative amendments, drafted parliamentary motions and questions and arranged numerous events.
With a respected reputation in policy and communications Michael has worked with a number of senior politicians and has a valued relationship with trades unions across the UK.
Michael worked with all the main national print and digital media outlets as well as a wide range of stakeholders in the public, private and third sector.
